Integrity Unit Board Appointments Panel

The purpose of the Integrity Unit Board Appointments Panel is to identify, recruit, assess and make recommendations to Council for membership to recommend to Congress for approval of the five independent members to be appointed to the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) Board.

The Panel consists of three members appointed by Council:

• Andrew Simpson (GBR), as the Chair and independent member
• Antti Pihlakoski (FIN), as the Council Member
• David Howman (NZL), as the Chair of the AIU Board

The period of appointment of the Panel is from 1 October 2019 through to the next Election Congress meeting in 2023.
