Triple World record holder Usain Bolt will be returning to Paris where he'll be headlining the 200m at the Meeting AREVA Samsung Diamond League meeting on 8 July.

Bolt, the Olympic and World champion and World record holder in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m Relay, will be targeting his third consecutive victory at the Stade de France after back-to-back 100m victories in 2009 and 2010, and this time on the stadium's brand new track.

Last year the Jamaican clocked 9.84 to beat arch-rival Asafa Powell and in 2009 ran a sizzling 9.79 in cold and windy conditions just one month before his historic double victory at the World Championships in Berlin where he set both of his current World records on 9.58 and 19.19.

As part of the build-up to his double World title defence, Bolt, 24, will kick off his Samsung Diamond League season at Rome's Compeed Golden Gala on 26 May in the 100m, his first-ever competitive appearance in Italy. He's also scheduled to contest the 200m at the ExxonMobil Bislett Games, the fifth stop on the 14-meeting Samsung Diamond League series, on 9 June.

While it remains to be confirmed, Bolt may take on rising French sprint star Christophe Lemaitre, the triple European champion, in Paris.
