MonteCarloIn cooperation with the Sport Science Department at the Aspire Academy in Doha, the IAAF continued its Biomechanics Project during the 13th World Indoor Championships in the Qatari capital.

The aim of the project, initially launched at the 1987 World Championships in Rome, is to support athletes and coaches in optimization and improvement of their training and competition performance.

In Doha, information was gathered to produce an analysis of the men's and women's 60m Hurdles finals. The analyses can be found on and downloaded from the Research Project Introduction page here: http://www.iaaf.org/development/research/index.html
