European Youth Olympic Days

FacebookTwitterEmail

The European Youth Olympic Days (EYOD) is the most important "under18 "multi-event championship organised by the European National Olympic Committees. It takes place every two years: the first edition was held in Brussels in 1991 and next will take place from 11 to 14 July in Esbjerg, Denmark, just a few days before the beginning of the 1st IAAF World Youth Championships in Athletics in Bydgoszcz.

EYOD could be considered as a European Under 18 Championships but the regulations governing the athletics competition allows a maximum number of 18 boys and 18 girls per country and only one athlete per discipline per country.
