Legend the Bigfoot, Official Mascot of World Athletics U20 Championships Oregon 26
The local organizing committee for the World Athletics U20 Championships Oregon 26 (WU20 Oregon 26) is pleased to announce the return of Legend the Bigfoot as the official mascot for this August’s championship at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.
Legend was first introduced at the World Athletics Championships Oregon22, and returns following a four-year hibernation in the lush forests of Oregon as the next generation of stars get set to shine in the Pacific Northwest for the World Athletics U20 Championships. The iconic mascot will once again embody Oregon’s unique natural beauty, love for sport, and culture. Legend is larger-than-life, bold, playful, and energized by the world’s best track and field fans.
Throughout the Championships, fans and participants can connect with Legend on and off the track. In the weeks prior, those who keep an eye out just might spot Legend at community events.
