A dominant 1-2 finish in the 10,000m by Kenyans Stacy Ndiwa and Alice Aprot highlighted the fourth day of competition at the 21st African Athletics Championships in Asaba, Nigeria, before another near capacity crowd at Stephen Keshi Memorial Stadium on Saturday (4).

Twelve months on from his surprise defeat, two-time world cross-country champion Geoffrey Kamworor regained his title at the Kenyan Cross Country Championships in Nairobi, while Stacy Ndiwa won an equally competitive women’s race on Saturday (10) to book her spot on the Kenyan team for the African Cross Country Championships.

Julien Wanders and Stacey Ndiwa claimed the titles at the Corrida Pedestre Internationale de Houilles, an IAAF Silver Label road race whose 46th edition took place in windy and rainy conditions on Sunday (31).

World half-marathon champion Geoffrey Kamworor showed impressive form as he won at the Kenya Police Service Cross Country Championships for the third consecutive year in Nairobi on Saturday (24).
