Australian Cathy Freeman to receive Arthur Ashe Award

Australia's Cathy Freeman, who raised awareness of the Aboriginal people during the Sydney Olympics, was selected Thursday by ESPN to receive the Arthur Ashe Courage and Humanitarian Award.

Freeman lit the torch at the opening ceremony and won the gold medal in the 400m. She will be honuored at Monday's ESPN awards.
