Usain Bolt and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce were named as the Male and Female World Athletes of the Year for 2013 at last month’s glittering and spectacular IAAF World Athletics Gala.
However, as the year comes to an end, we are asking all athletics fans what is your ONE individual highlight of the 2013 athletics year?
You can vote in the Fans section of the IAAF website.
We are looking for your vote for that one moment that got you cheering wildly at an athletics event or had you leaping out of your chair if you were watching on TV.
We have listed 20 highlights – 10 men and 10 women – which we think were the top individual moments of 2013.
There will be some people who disagree with our selection but space permits us only to list 20 and they also encompass the entire range of athletics disciplines: running, jumping, throwing, walking and relays.
Voting is open until 3 January, 2014.
