World silver medallist Cindy Roleder is the latest athlete to sign up for the Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe on 6 February, the first IAAF World Indoor Tour meeting of 2016.

The 26-year-old German took a surprise silver medal in the 100m hurdles at the IAAF World Championships Beijing 2015, running a PB of 12.59.

Earlier in the year, she won the 60m hurdles at the Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe and she will return to the German city on 6 February to defend her title.

“I always enjoy competing in Karlsruhe,” said Roleder, who has a 60m hurdles PB of 7.93. “The atmosphere is great and the spectators are close to the athletes. Last year I was up against strong competition, and I think this year there will be another exciting race.”

Pole vault world record-holder Renaud Lavillenie, 2013 world pole vault champion Raphael Holzdeppe and world 200m champion Dafne Schippers are among the other athletes confirmed for Karlsruhe.
