Decathlon World record holder Roman Sebrle showed excellent shape on Tuesday in his last warm-up competition before departing for Athens.

The European champion sprinted against a strong wind -1,7 m/s in the hurdles with a 14.25 clocking.

"It felt that the wind was much stronger. So I must be pleased. To run under 14 is my aim for Olympic Decathlon."

In the Shot Put he very easily achieved 15.96m. "These were only very relaxed throws, I have more in me."

But the best result was achieved in the Long Jump. Sebrle achieved 799 with +3.4 wind support.

"That was the best, with or without wind. That gives me good hopes for Athens," said Sebrle.

"Overall I´m satisfied. Feeling very good."
