Strides for Social Justice, a collaboration between PeaceHealth, Eugene Marathon and community partners, enables kids and adults to learn about local Black history while exploring the neighborhoods of Eugene, Ore.

History comes to life through a series of self-guided tours focused on extraordinary individuals who fought for justice, broke barriers and opened doors for so many others.

In February 2022, Strides for Social Justice added two new University of Oregon routes to its series of available Black History tours throughout Eugene, Ore., as part of the community’s celebration of Black History Month.
