It was tactical, we had to push a little bit, but on the whole it was really easy. My competitions this season were good although at the beginning it was a little tough. At the start of the season, when I'm doing my training, it sometimes takes me two or three competitions to get race-sharp.
Mariem Alaoui SELSOULI, MAR
The race was 100% tactical. I preferred to stay a little bit behind to save energy. I had to stay focused to avoid any fall or the risk of disqualification, but everything went fine. I am also a 5000m runner, but my coach and people around me feel I am doing better at the 1500m, that's why I opted for that event.
