The Polish Athletics Association (PZLA) has announced the host nation’s team of 51 athletes for the IAAF World U20 Championships Bydgoszcz 2016.

The team is led by Konrad Bukowiecki and Ewa Swoboda. Defending shot put champion Bukowiecki earlier this year threw 21.14m with the senior implement, the best ever throw by an U20 athlete.

European junior champion Swoboda, meanwhile, broke the world U20 indoor 60m record with 7.07 earlier this year before going on to break her own national U20 100m record with 11.18.
