Jonathan Wyatt of New Zealand continued his long unbeaten run in mountain races in recording his third win of the WMRA Grand Prix series in Susa (Italy).

With just one more race to go, Wyatt now leads the ranking table. His time of 1 hour 17 minutes 32 seconds was 3 minutes slower than his course record, but still a comfortable margin of one and a half minutes in front of Antonio Molinary (ITA) and Marco Gaiardo (ITA) a few seconds further behind. The course was 15km with a 1,500m climb.

Italian ladies dominated their 8km event as Vittoria Salvini beat her team mate Pierangela Baronchelli by 38 second in a time of 49 minutes 32 seconds.

Newcomer to the mountain running scene, Mary Wilkinson (GBR), was third in 52 minutes 6 seconds.

The final Grand Prix race takes place in Zell Unterhamersbach (Germany) on October 9th. Full results can be seen on the Challenge Stellina web page via the link on www.wmra.info.
